All companies registered in Lithuania are obliged to keep accounting records. The accounting of each company must meet the standards set by the State.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

The cost of service depends on the company’s VAT registration status, the number of processed accounting documents, employees, credit and leasing contracts. Not every Lithuanian company is required to register for VAT. The obligation depends on its VAT-taxable turnover and transactions, including certain cross-border purchases and supplies that may trigger registration regardless of turnover.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

All documents must be sent to your accountant in order to be submitted on time. Late filing of tax returns may result in penalties imposed by the Lithuanian State Tax Inspectorate (VMI).<\/p><\/div><\/div>
