Power of attorney

Power of attorney is a document by which a person authorises another person to act on their behalf. Foreign founders often use a notarised power of attorney to register a Lithuanian company without travelling to Lithuania.

A power of attorney issued abroad usually has to be legalised or apostilled and translated into Lithuanian.
