MiCA and CASP

MiCA is the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation. A CASP (crypto-asset service provider) is a company authorised under MiCA to provide services such as custody, exchange or transfer of crypto-assets.

A CASP licence obtained in one EU country — in Lithuania from the Bank of Lithuania — allows the services to be provided across the EU.
