KYC/AML procedūra Lietuvos kriptovaliutų bendrovei

KYC/AML procesai

Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs) operating in Lithuania must comply with Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA), the Lithuanian Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing, and applicable EU anti-money laundering legislation. Since 1 January 2026, the former national VASP registration regime no longer provides authorisation to offer regulated crypto-asset services in Lithuania. CASPs must hold the required MiCA authorisation or qualify for an applicable exemption and implement effective customer due diligence (KYC), transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, risk management and suspicious transaction reporting procedures.

CASPs must also comply with Regulation (EU) 2023/1113 concerning information accompanying transfers of funds and certain crypto-assets (the Travel Rule).

For crypto-asset transfers, CASPs must also collect, verify where required, and transmit relevant originator and beneficiary information in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/1113.
